No caso do 131I, a falta de realismo anat\u00f4mico do simulador pode prejudicar a qualidade e confiabilidade do resultado da monitora\u00e7\u00e3o. Ent\u00e3o, com objetivo desenvolver um simulador de tireoide utilizando impress\u00e3o 3D, foram utilizadas imagens dos modelos voxelizados, disponibilizados na ICRP 110. A superposi\u00e7\u00e3o das imagens do modelo original e do modelo tratado demonstra a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o de caracter\u00edsticas morfol\u00f3gicas.
